Maiken Baird
Maiken Baird is an independent documentary filmmaker specializing in international and political affairs. She executive produced the Academy Award-winning film ICARUS and is a frequent collaborator of Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, first producing CLIENT 9: THE RISE AND FALL OF ELIOT SPITZER in 2010 and, later, serving as an executive producer on DIVIDE AND CONQUER: THE RISE AND FALL OF ROGER AILES, NO STONE UNTURNED, ELIÁN, and the BAFTA-nominated CITY OF GHOSTS. Maiken also directed and produced the feature documentary VENUS AND SERENA about the legendary Williams sisters.
Recently, Maiken executive produced THE FIRST WAVE, shot in NYC in the harrowing early weeks of the pandemic, TOTALLY UNDER CONTROL and THE GRAB which recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Maiken also produced the Israeli film TANTURA which investigates the 1948 massacre in the Palestinian village of Tantura and the dogged work of one Israeli researcher to finally expose the truth. Maiken directed and produced GHISLAINE MAXWELL: FILTHY RICH which was released in November on Netflix.
Prior to becoming a documentary filmmaker, Maiken worked at the United Nations in New York, the European Union in Brussels, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London. Maiken is a member of the PGA, DGA, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
Jill Green
Jill Green is CEO, Executive Producer and founder of Eleventh Hour Films overseeing the strategic and creative direction of the business globally.
Since starting the company in 2010, Jill has executive produced FOYLE’S WAR, NEW BLOOD, VEXED, and atmospheric thriller SAFE HOUSE, and recently, two seasons of the widely popular spy series ALEX RIDER for Amazon/IMDb TV and Sony.
MAGPIE MURDERS launched in the US on Masterpiece in October 2022 to rave reviews.
A distinctive reimagining of ROBYN HOOD is in co-production with Canadian Boatrocker and Luti Media, to be delivered to Corus Entertainment in spring 2023.
She is currently executive producing a new fresh take of Sir Ian Rankin’s bestselling REBUS novels for the UK launch of Viaplay.
Previously, Jill set up and ran Greenlit Productions for 12 years, where 29 feature length films of FOYLE’S WAR were first generated alongside award winning COLLISION and the feature film THE AMERICAN starring George Clooney.
Jill was Artistic Director of the Aldeburgh Documentary Festival and now serves on the board of Aldeburgh Cinema. She is working with Suffolk Films on a short film festival. She also advises the Chichester Theatre where she spent six years as a board member.
Kristin Thorne
Kristin Thorne is an investigative reporter for WABC-TV Eyewitness News.
She is the creator, writer, and producer of WABC’s Emmy-award winning true crime series MISSING, in which she investigates the disappearances of people from the New York City area.
Before joining the Eyewitness News team in January 2012, Kristin was a reporter at News 12 Westchester. Before that, she worked at WHTM-TV ABC 27 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and earned her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the prestigious Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She is an adjunct professor at Hofstra University teaching journalism in the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication.
She is the recipient of an Emmy Award and has received numerous Emmy nominations. She has also been honored with two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and has received several Folio awards, which honor the best of Long Island journalism.
Kristin was also honored with the Excellence in Newscasting Award at the 2021 Long Island International Film Expo.
