Anthony Horowitz, CBE

Based in the UK, Anthony Horowitz has written over 50 books, and being a born polymath, he juggles writing them with TV series, films, plays, and journalism. 

Anthony wrote the worldwide bestselling teen spy series ALEX RIDER. He was commissioned to write two new Sherlock Holmes novels, as well as three new stories for James Bond by the Ian Fleming Estate. The third Bond novel WITH A MIND TO KILL was published in 2022.

In 2016, his award-winning novel MAGPIE MURDERS was published to critical acclaim and aired in the US on Masterpiece in 2022. The sequel, MOONFLOWER MURDERS, is optioned to follow.

His new series features Detective Hawthorne and a sidekick called Anthony Horowitz. The fourth book, THE TWIST OF A KNIFE, recently published in the US, has a sequel already in the works.
